Cwm Drysiog valley
Plenty of birds about today including 4 Tree Pipit, 20 Willow Warblers, 5 Chiffchaff, 10 Blackcap, 1 Whitethroat and a pair of Stonechat. Butterflies seen were 2 Peacock, 8 Green-veined White and 1 Small Tortoiseshell. 10 species of Hoverfly including first of the year "Baccha elongata". A violet Oil-Beetle was seen on the path as well as 6 Green Tiger Beetle and the first Gorse Tortrix's of the year.
